This database contains Florida stolen property information as reported to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement by law enforcement agencies throughout the state and authorized for release to the public. FDLE and the reporting agencies strongly recommend that no citizen take any individual action based on this information. This information is not to be used as a confirmation or probable cause that any property is stolen. Information contained herein should not be relied upon for any type of legal action. Please be advised that the identification number assigned to a particular vehicle by the manufacturer and/or owner may not be unique; duplicates may exist. Also, some identification numbers may be used on more than one vehicle. FDLE cannot represent that this information is current, active, or complete. You should verify that a stolen property report is active with your local law enforcement agency or with the reporting agency.

Search Stolen Vehicles
This page is used to search for a stolen vehicle as entered by a law enforcement agency within the State of Florida. The criteria required for the search is a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or License Plate Number, or Owner Applied Number. Only one of these can be specified for the stolen vehicle search. The system will allow a maximum of 20 characters to be entered for the Vehicle Identification Number and Owner Applied Number. The system will allow a maximum of 8 characters to be entered for the License Plate Number.

View Stolen Vehicles Search Results
When performing a stolen vehicle search, the system will display the results of the search in a table that includes the following columns.
  • Make
  • Vehicle Identification Number
  • Owner Applied Number
  • Reporting Agency
If an image exists in the system for a stolen vehicle, a camera icon will be displayed next to the Make information. A blank field indicates there is no data available for it. To view a vehicle that has been reported stolen, please click on the vehicle's row. Clicking on the column header will sort the search result data. Please note that there is a maximum of 500 results returned for any search for the Public Access System.

View Stolen Vehicle
The View Stolen Vehicle page will display all information entered for the stolen vehicle by the reporting agency that will include the following information:
  • Vehicle Identification Number
  • Owner Applied Number
  • Reporting Agency
  • Agency Case #
  • Date of Theft
  • Vehicle Make
  • Vehicle Model
  • Vehicle Style
  • Vehicle Model Year
  • Vehicle Color
  • License Plate Number
  • Registration Year
  • License Type
A blank field indicates that there was no data entered for it.
If an image exists in the system for a stolen vehicle, it will be displayed.
The View Stolen Vehicle page will have a "Send A Tip" button that will allow for an e-mail to be sent to the reporting agency if you have information regarding the stolen vehicle. The View Stolen Vehicle page will also display, if available, the phone number of the reporting law enforcement agency. If you wish to report a tip without disclosing your name, you may do so.
